Katie was a best friend in every way possible. She was someone I could always count on and a person who was always there to talk. Through high school things were always changing, but Katie was always there for me.
Katie had a way of always making me comfortable. She had a confidence
that was undeniable and it surrounded those around her. Katie was also one
of the funniest people I have ever met. We could be doing almost anything and
we would have a great time. We could laugh for hours about something so
small. Whether it was dancing around her room with her music turned up or
watching her pretend to be a cat, Katie constantly brought a smile to my face.
I can honestly say that Katie changed my life for the better. I learned so
much through her unique personality and wonderful spirit. As I look
back on our time together I realize what an impact she had on me. I feel
blessed to have been able to live part of my life with Katie. I know that she is
still with me and I am confident that her free spirit will continue on.
